Instructions for downloading the files:

  1. Click on the file you want to download.

  2. Save it to your local drive, which can be a zip disk (100MB only in the SLIS lab), quick drive, or hard drive (e.g., C:, D:, etc.). It is not recommended to use a floppy disk because it is very slow and not sufficient to hold all files for some assignments.

  3. Unzip the file you just downloaded:
    1. Click on the file you just downloaded.
    2. If you use any machine in the SLIS lab, you will see a list of original files listed. On the left side of the window, under "Folder Tasks," Click "Extract all files."
    3. Click "Next" to continue.
    4. Choose the same location that contains your zip file.
    5. Click on "Next" and wait until it's done.
    6. Click on "Finish." You should have all original files extracted to the location you specified in step 4.
