Betzi Bateman is using the web to collect data for her Master's research paper. Barbara Schloman used the web to collect data for her project on electronic journal publishing. Yin Zhang used the web for a project on scholarly use of Internet-based electronic resourses. Her paper based on this method won the "Methodology Paper Competition Award" presented by the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) in January 1999.
