The Northern
Ohio Chapter of the American Society for Information Science held
a meeting on April 19th that included a tour and demonstration
of NASA's Aeronautics Education Laboratory at the Glenn Research
Center. This is one of twelve such classrooms set up across the
country. The facility consists of a classroom containing 10 computer
workstations, a small wind tunnel, and a flight simulator. The
lab is used to promote an interest in science and mathematics
among middle and high school students.
