Virtual New Student Orientation

 

 

Welcome to the School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) at Kent State! Virtual New Student Orientation is designed for students unable to attend either of the live orientation sessions on August 18 (in Kent) and August 19 (in Columbus). By following the 13 steps below, you will obtain the same information that is presented at the traditional orientation sessions.

Get an overview of the SLIS computer labs, including information on technical skills required and available by downloading and viewing power point displays in the Incoming Columbus Student Lab Orientation area and Incoming Kent Student Lab Orientation.

Listen to a presentation from Libraries and Media Services Orientations about using the library. Click on the program in which you are enrolled.
