If you find that a course is "closed" when you attempted to register for it, you may place yourself on the waitlist for it through the SLIS website.  Go to Courses and Schedules and click on Waitlisting.  In addition to the course CRN, you will need your Flashline username and Banner ID to do this.

As openings occur in courses, students will be contacted from the waitlist in the order in which they waitlisted themselves. Students will be contacted by all available phone numbers and then they will be emailed if unreachable by phone.  We ask that students return these calls/emails as quickly as possible even if they do not wish to be registered for the course.  By doing so, this will allow us to register students who wish to be enrolled and to contact other students on the waitlist.

Following registration, students should review their schedule for accuracy and make arrangements for tuition payment through the Bursar's office.  Students who are dropped from courses due to non-payment and still wish to take the course may be required to place themselves on a waitlist if a waitlist exists for that course.
