How long do I have to complete my degree? |

Students are expected to complete all requirements for the master’s degree within six consecutive years from the date of initial enrollment. Students who exceed this time limit may petition for a one-year extension without being required to repeat any coursework taken within the six years prior to the one-year extension. Additional time extensions will require that coursework older than seven years be retaken. All courses used to meet the requirements for graduation may be no older than seven years at the time of graduation. NOTE: Courses transferred from outside of Kent State University, however, may be no more than six years old at the time of graduation.
