Honors

  • 2003 Library Journal "Mover and Shakers." (March 2003 Special Supplement)  Named with Dr. Greg Byerly as two of fifty-five of the most innovative librarians working in libraries in the United States and Canada.
  • 1998 Progressive School Library Media Award, Ohio Educational Library Media Association/Winnebago.  Received from the membership of the state organization.
  • Kent State University Office of Cultural Diversity, Creative Contribution Award for the Virginia Hamilton Conference, 1994. Received the award with Dr. Anthony Manna as co-directors of the conference.
