To specialize in an area of librarianship (e.g., K-12 School Library Media, children's, young adult) students must take specialized courses in either Kent or Columbus.  The two-year cycle of 12-12-12 courses being offered starting in fall  will offer required core courses and faculty-selected electives.  To specialize, you may also choose to enroll in continuing studies workshops, an individual investigation or transfer six hours or graduate coursework from another college or university.
