Fellow Alumni: 

The Friends and Alumni Council of the School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University provides alumni the opportunity to mentor students, build useful and sound collaborations, and support SLIS through contributions of time, talent, and financial gifts.

As president, I encourage all alumni to become involved!

• Attend the annual Friends and Alumni Honors and Award Dinner in April.
  
• Offer internships and real-world work experience for students in professional environments.
• Stay connected with the program that provided an exceptional foundation for success.

My fellow council members welcome your input and look forward to hearing from you regarding the ways you can become personally involved in supporting SLIS and the students it serves.
