Students of SLIS-Kent are, for the moment, eligible for one email account offered through the university: the kentmail account offered via Googlemail.  This university account is both POP and IMAP compliant. Kentmail can be accessed through clients like Eudora, Netscape, Thunderbird or Outlook.

Kent State University launched Kent State's FlashLine in fall semester 2003. FlashLine is a Web portal for the University community that improves and streamlines electronic communication University wide. The portal provides KSU with a new e-mail system, a calendaring system and secure, single-sign-on access to Web CT, Web for Students and Web for Faculty and Advisors. Getting Mail With a POP client

Setting your provided Googemail account to deliver to your personal email client can be determined by following instructions provided in the "Settings" tab of your Googlemail interface.
